OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated November 1, 2000, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Lawrence O'Neil of Port Hawkesbury, Inverness County, as an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia for a term of office of one year commencing November 1, 2000, and ending October 31, 2001; (

b) appoint Alan Stanwick of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia for a term office of one year commencing November 1, 2000, and ending October 31, 2001; (

c) appoint R.K. Murray Judge of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as an Adjudicator of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia for a term of office of five years commencing November 1, 2000, and ending October 31, 2005; and (

d) determine the remuneration for Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia to be at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) for the first hour of each sitting of the court and seventy-five dollars ($75) per hour or part thereof for each hour thereafter and seventy-five dollars ($75) for a stated case and authorize payment of travel and accommodation expenses at rates payable to public servants.
