On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 4, 2026,

(

a) the Small Claims Rules, B.C. Reg. 261/93, are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1, and

(

b) the Supreme Court Civil Rules, B.C. Reg. 168/2009, are amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2.
