OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 19, 2003, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of
Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Michael R. Hadskis of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a full-time appeal commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal (the "WCAT") for a term of office extending from April 1, 2004, up to and including September 30, 2004, subject to dismissal for just cause; (
b) continue to fix the remuneration of Michael R. Hadskis as a full-time appeal commissioner in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Civil Service Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 20) in the range of $50,121.50 to $65,158.08, subject to all applicable enactments, regulations and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 20) provided that Michael R. Hadskis shall not receive remuneration during his leave of absence from September 1, 2003, to August 31, 2004; and (
c) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Michael R. Hadskis as a full-time appeal commissioner of the WCAT on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service, provided that Civil Service benefits other than those to which Michael R. Hadskis has contributed during his leave of absence, shall not be extended to Michael R. Hadskis during his leave of absence from September 1, 2003, to August 31, 2004.
