Order in Council 1312/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 4.1 (2), and 4.1(8) of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 ,

The Chair of the board of directors of the Ontario Energy Board (“ OEB ”), who is appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of:

$1,250 per diem to a maximum of $200,780 per year up to and including September 30, 2025, effective October 1, 2022;

$800 per diem to a maximum of $128,499 per year as of October 1, 2025;

The Vice-Chair of the board of directors of the OEB , who is appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of $560 per diem, effective October 1, 2022; and

The other members of the board of directors of the OEB , who are appointed on a part-time basis, shall be compensated at the rate of $510 per diem, effective October 1, 2022.

Appointees shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the OEB in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.

And further that Order in Council 1246/2021 be revoked, effective October 1, 2022.
