OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated October 6, 2000, pursuant to subsections 6(1), (2) and (3) of

Chapter 420 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Senior Citizens' Secretariat Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Valerie White as Chief Administrative Officer of the Senior Citizens' Secretariat, effective July 12, 2000; (

b) determine that Valerie White as Chief Administrative Officer of the Senior Citizens' Secretariat be paid in accordance with the Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP30) subject to all applicable enactments; (

c) order that civil service benefits be extended to Valerie White as Chief Administrative Officer of the Senior Citizens' Secretariat on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the civil service; (

d) designate Valerie White as Chief Administrative Officer of the Senior Citizens' Secretariat to be an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (

e) determine that Valerie White be bound by the principles and purposes of both the Corporate Code of Conduct for Civil Servants and the Members and Public Employees' Disclosure Act, S.N.S., 1991, c.4, as amended.
