On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Local Government Elections Regulation, B.C. Reg. 380/93, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 3 of the Local Government Elections Regulation, B.C. Reg. 380/93, is amended

(

a) by renumbering the

section as

section 3 (2),

(

b) by adding the following subsection:

(1) In this section, "first nation" has the same meaning as in

section 1 of the

Schedule to the Community Charter . , and

(

c) by adding the following paragraphs to subsection (2):

(b.4) a citizenship or membership card issued by a first nation,

(b.5) a citizenship card issued by Métis Nation British Columbia, .
