OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage dated October 22, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 254 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Libraries Act , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Ruby McDorman of Debert, Colchester County, as a member of the Colchester-East Hants Regional Library Board for a term of three years commencing December 2, 2014; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Ruby McDorman in her capacity as a member of the Colchester-East Hants Regional Library Board and indemnify her from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of her activities in relation to her appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends her, the Province will be in control of the case.
