CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Animal Protection Act (Assented to November 6, 1987) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Animal Protection Amendment Act, 1987. R.S.S. 1978, c.A-21 The Animal Protection Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section is amended by adding “sheep, goats,” after “horses,”. Coming into force 7(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into force on the day on which The Regulatory Reform Act, 1987 comes into force.

(2) If this Act is assented to after The Regulatory Reform Act, 1987 comes into force, this Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on the day on which The Regulatory Reform Act, 1987 came into force.
