OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated January 12, 2021, and pursuant to
Section 3 of
Chapter 7 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Agriculture and Rural Credit Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint John Hamilton of Aylesford, Kings County, as a director of the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board for a five-year term commencing February 25, 2021; and (
b) determine that John Hamilton be remunerated for his service as director in the amount of $100.00 per day and that he be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as a director, provided that any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service.
