OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated November 29, 2002, pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources of a parcel of Crown land containing 73 acres, more or less, situate at Dollar Lake, Halifax County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to the Boy Scouts of Canada Nova Scotia Provincial Council Property Society, a society duly incorporated under the Societies Act, with its registered office at Halifax, Halifax County, its successors and permitted assigns, for the purpose of developing and maintaining an area for Boy Scout activities while fostering good land stewardship practices only, and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years at the annual rent of three hundred and sixty-five dollars ($365.00) with the right to renew the lease for a further ten (10) year term at a rent to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with terms and conditions of the lease; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this order.
