OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage dated April 24, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 254 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Libraries Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint J. Christopher Mullaley of Pugwash, Cumberland County as a member of the Cumberland Regional Library Board for a term of three years commencing June 5, 2012; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against J. Christopher Mullaley of the Cumberland Regional Library Board and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
