Order in Council 1784/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas, pursuant to

section 1 of Ontario Regulation 666/21 made under the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act , the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board will be dissolved effective December 31, 2021;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , the Orders in Council O.C. 28/2020 and 95/2020 appointing Lisa DiCesare as part-time member of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and Guy Savoie as part-time member and vice-chair of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, respectively, and the Orders in Council O.C. 1740/2019, 1764/2019 and 1765/2019 reappointing Christine McGoey, Louise Charette and Kevin Cleghorn as part-time members of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, respectively, be revoked, effective December 31, 2021.
