Order in Council 1772/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

A proclamation in respect of the Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016 be issued in the form set out in the Schedule.

Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016

We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name,

November 30, 2016 as the day on which the following provisions of the Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016 , c. 12, come into force:

Schedule 1, s. 1-32, 34-108, being the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 .

Schedule 2, s. 1-55, 65-73, 75, being the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016 .

January 1, 2017 as the day on which the following provision of the Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016 , c. 12, comes into force:

Schedule 1, s. 33, being the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 .

May 1, 2017 as the day on which the following provisions of the Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016 , c. 12, come into force:

Schedule 2, s. 56-64, being the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016 .
