B.C. Reg. 69/2008 , deposited April 10, 2008, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [Section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Section 26]. Order in Council 219/2008, approved and ordered April 10, 2008.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective June 1, 2008, the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, and the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, are amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Schedule
1 The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 7, by adding the following paragraphs to subsection (1):
(
d) in Canada under a temporary resident permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) or on a minister's permit issued under the Immigration Act (Canada);
(
e) in the process of having his or her claim for refugee protection, or application for protection, determined or decided under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada);
(
f) subject to a removal order under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) that cannot be executed. ;
(
b) in
section 7 by striking out "deportation" in subsection (2) (
f) and substituting "removal";
(
c) by repealing
section 42.
2 The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 6, by adding the following subparagraphs to subsection (1):
(

(
