Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means The Water Protection Act .

1 Dans le présent règlement, « Loi » s'entend de la

Loi sur la protection des eaux .

Exemptions from subsection 8.1(1) of the Act

2 For the purpose of reducing the risk to human health, subsection 8.1(1) of the Act does not apply to the

(

a) selling;

(

b) supplying;

(

c) offering to sell or supply;

(

d) manufacturing;

(

e) distributing; or

(

f) bringing into Manitoba for use in Manitoba;

of a dishwashing detergent, or other dishwashing compound, that is not intended to be used for household purposes.

Exemptions au paragraphe 8.1(1) de la Loi

2 En vue de l'atténuation des risques pour la santé humaine, le paragraphe 8.1(1) de la Loi ne s'applique pas à la vente, à la fourniture, à l'offre de vente ou de fourniture, à la fabrication, à la distribution ni à l'importation dans la province pour utilisation à cet endroit de produits pour la vaisselle, notamment de détergents, qui ne sont pas destinés à un usage domestique.

Coming into force

3 This regulation comes into force on the same day that The Phosphorus Reduction Act (Water Protection Act Amended) , S.M. 2008, c. 10, comes into force.
