OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Advanced Education and the Minister of Public Works dated February 9, 2022, and pursuant to clause 65(1)(

b) and subsection 65(3) of

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1995-96, the Community Colleges Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased, effective March 29, 2022, to authorize the Minister of Advanced Education:

a) constructing new student residences at the Nova Scotia Community College - lvany Campus, the Nova Scotia Community College - Akerley Campus, and the Nova Scotia Community College - Pictou Campus (the Residences);

b) executing all necessary agreements or other instruments for the purposes of constructing the Residences; and

c) entering into a net debt obligation for the capital costs associated with the construction of the Residences.
