OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 9, 2026, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective on and after June 23, 2026, to assign to the Minister of Municipal Affairs all affairs and matters relating to the Building Code, including the administration of the Building Code Act and regulations.
