On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with

the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective December 16,

2019, the attached Protected Areas ( Environmental Assessment Act ) Regulation is made.

PROTECTED AREAS ( ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT ACT ) REGULATION

Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the Environmental Assessment Act .

Prescribed protected areas

2 The areas set out in Column 2 of the following table, established by the enactments

set out opposite in Column 1, are prescribed as protected areas for the purposes of

section 16 (2) (c) (ii) of the Act:
