1 1 2006-07FREEHOLD OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION TAX BILL No. 48 of 2006-07

An Act to amend The Freehold Oil and Gas Production Tax Act (Assented to ) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Freehold Oil and Gas Production Tax Amendment Act, 2007. S.S. 1982-83, c.F-22.1,

section amended Subsection 2(1) of The Freehold Oil and Gas Production Tax Act is amended: (

a) by repealing clause (b); and (

b) by repealing clause (

e) and substituting the following: “(e) ‘freehold lands’ means all lands in Saskatchewan, and all rights to and interests in those lands, other than: (

i) Crown mineral lands within the meaning of The Crown Minerals Act; and (ii) any lands, and all rights to and interests in any lands, that were acquired by the Crown pursuant to or by virtue of
