Statute: Municipal Finance Corporation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated May 6, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 6 of

Chapter 301 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Municipal Finance Corporation Act, and clauses 18(1)(

a) and (

c) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Greg Keefe as a member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation Board, effective May 12, 2009; (

b) appoint Kevin Malloy as a member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation Board, for a term commencing May 12, 2009 and ending June 30, 2010; (

c) revoke the appointment of R. Mark Gilbert as Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation, effective May 12, 2009; and (

d) appoint Mark Peck as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation, effective May 12, 2009.
