Section 28 of the Act is amended 2 L’article 28 de la Loi est modifié (

a) by adding after subsection (2) the following:

a) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragra- phe (2) : 28(2.1) Despite subsection (2), for the period com- mencing on January 1, 2016, and ending on March 31, 2021, the amount of the annual indemnity payable to each member of the Legislative Assembly shall be the same as the amount of $ 85,000 established under sub- section (2) for the 12-month period commencing on April 1, 2008, and this annual indemnity shall be deemed to be the indemnity authorized under subsection (2), without the adjustment set out in subsections (3) to (6). 28(2.1) Par dérogation au paragraphe (2), pour la pé- riode commençant le 1 er janvier 2016 et se terminant le 31 mars 2021, le montant de l’indemnité annuelle que reçoit chaque député à l’Assemblée législative est le même que le montant de 85 000 $ fixé en vertu du para- graphe (2) pour la période de douze mois commençant le 1 er avril 2008, et cette indemnité annuelle est réputée être celle autorisée à être versée en vertu de ce même pa- ragraphe, sans le rajustement prévu aux paragraphes (3) à (6). 1

Section 6 of the Executive Council Act,
