Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated September 29, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 65 of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, hereby: (

a) revokes the appointment of Hubert Devine of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as a lay member of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act made by Order in Council 2020-183 dated June 30, 2020, effective October 20, 2020; (

b) revokes the reappointment of Gregg Knudsen of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a lawyer member of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act made by Order in Council 2020-183 dated June 30, 2020, effective October 20, 2020; and (

c) revokes the reappointment of Dr. Scott Milligan of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Balls Creek) as a psychiatrist member of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act made by Order in Council 2017-259 dated October 17, 2017 and effective on December 9, 2017, effective October 20, 2020.
