OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated February 13, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective on and after March 26, 2024, to: (

a) approve the Minister of Public Works entering into Amending Agreement No. 1 of the Canada — Nova Scotia Road Safety Transfer Payment Program Agreement for the Motor Carrier Safety — National Safety Code Project with the Government of Canada, substantially in the form set forth in Appendix “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the Amending Agreement; and (

b) ratify and confirm the Canada — Nova Scotia Road Safety Transfer Payment Program Agreement for the Motor Carrier Safety — National Safety Code Project Agreement signed January 27, 2021, as set forth as Appendix “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
