OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Gaming Control Act dated May 5, 2011 and pursuant to Sections 12 and 15 of

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-1995, the Gaming Control Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint F. Wayne Adams and Yvonne Atwell, both of East Preston, Halifax Regional Municipality, as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, each for a term of three years effective June 7, 2011; (

b) determine remuneration for members of the Board of Directors to be $250.00 per day; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation and indemnify them from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointments and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
