Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for administration of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act dated January 10, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, and subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased, effective February 15, 2010, (

a) to revoke Brigitte Neumann's appointment as Executive Director of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women, made by Order in Council 2002-279 dated June 14, 2002; (

b) to appoint Stephanie Maclnnis-Langley of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Executive Director of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women; and (

c) to direct that the remuneration of the Executive Director of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women be determined in accordance with the Public Service Commission compensation and classification system with normal benefits and increments, and subject to all applicable enactments.
