Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act Public Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated March 16, 2000, pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, and Sections 4 and 73 of

Chapter 376 of the said Revised Statutes, the Public Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) assign responsibility for the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act to the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing for the sole purpose of transferring Exhibition Park from the Province to the Trade Centre Limited; (

b) authorize the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing to convey to Trade Centre Limited, or its nominee, the property known as Exhibition Park, 200 Prospect Road, Goodwood, more particularly described in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, at no charge, on terms and conditions that are satisfactory to the Minister of Justice; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to execute such documents and agreements as may be required in connection with this conveyance.
