OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the Report and Recommendation· of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 18, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 29 of
Chapter 100 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Corporations Miscellaneous Provisions Act , is pleased, effective December 15, 2020, to: (
a) convey the lands located at Deep Hollow Road and White Rock Road, White Rock, Kings County, Nova Scotia known as PID 55495808 and PID 55539555 and as more particularly described in the attached
Schedule “A” to Clifford Long & Sons for consideration of $1; (
b) authorize the Attorney General to make, execute and deliver a deed of conveyance in such form as the Attorney General determines; (
c) as conditions to the conveyance of the land require Clifford Long & Sons Limited to: 1. pay the Department of Justice fees in the amount of $750; 2. pay any arrears of the real property taxes assessed on the land; 3. migrate title to the land at their own cost; and 4. indemnify Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Nova Scotia for any claims against the Province arising from the land or the Crown's conveyance of the land to them, on terms and conditions acceptable to the Attorney General; and (
d) authorize the Attorney General to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
