Order in Council 63/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas, pursuant to subsection 2.0.1 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act , R.S.O. 1990, c. E.9, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may appoint, from among the members of the Executive Council, a committee to advise the Lieutenant Governor in Council on matters relating to emergencies;

And

whereas that committee may from time to time require advice from other members of the Executive Council;

Now Therefore the permanent membership of the Cabinet Committee on Emergency Management be as follows:

Premier and President of the Executive Council (Chair)

President of the Treasury Board (Vice-Chair)

Attorney General

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs

Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services

Minister of Energy

Minister of Health and Long-Term Care

Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation

Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs

Minister of Municipal Affairs

Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry

And , where any situation or circumstance within the purview of the Committee falls within the mandate or statutory authority of a Member of the Executive Council not listed in this Order, that Member may be added to the Committee for such period considered appropriate by the Chair;

And, Order in Council OC -1081/2016, dated June 22, 2016, be revoked.
