Statute: University Foundations Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated June 24, 2010, is pleased to: (

a) pursuant to clause 18(1)(

a) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, revoke the appointments of John McFarlane, made by Order in Council 2009-410 dated October 6, 2009, and George Bishop, made by Order in Council 2008-642 dated December 16, 2008, as members of the Acadia University Foundation effective August 4, 2010; (

b) pursuant to clause 5(1)(

a) of

Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1991, the University Foundations Act, appoint Susan Ueffing of Canning, County of Kings, as a member of the Acadia University Foundation for a term of three years commencing August 4, 2010; and (

c) pursuant to clause 5(1)(

b) of

Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1991, the University Foundations Act, appoint Ian Hutchinson of Port Williams, County of Kings, as a member of the Acadia University Foundation for a term of three years commencing August 4, 2010.
