Order in Council 1274/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the City of Toronto Police Services Board was continued as a police service board under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 on April 1, 2024,

And

whereas , Nicola (Nick) Migliore was reappointed as a member of the City of Toronto Police Service Board on May 18, 2024 by the Solicitor General pursuant to subsection 31(7) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 to fill the vacancy in provincial appointments on the board ,

Therefore , pursuant to

section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act , 2019,

Nicola (Nick) Migliore of Toronto

be reappointed as a member of the City of Toronto Police Service Board to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to exceed three years, effective from the later of November 18, 2024, and date this Order in Council is made.
