On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulation, B.C. Reg. 241/2016, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) effective May 1, 2026, the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulation is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 202 of the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulation, B.C. Reg. 241/2016, is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) Despite items 19 to 31 of

Schedule 1, if an application is made to renew a licence or endorsement described in any of those items that expires before May 1, 2026, the fee that must be submitted under this

section is the applicable fee under

Schedule 1 as it read immediately before the coming into force of this subsection.

Schedule 1 is amended by striking out items 19 to 31 and substituting the following:

Liquor primary, food primary, catering, licensee retail store, wine store, special wine store or rural licensee retail store: if the amount of liquor purchases or sales calculated under

section 204 of this regulation is

(a) $12 500 or less

(

b) over $12 500 and up to $20 000

(

c) over $20 000 and up to $45 000
