OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 12, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and
Section 2 of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 2007, the Undersea Coal Mines Regulation Act, and such other authority as is vested in the Ministers, is pleased to: (
a) approve the Memorandum of Understanding respecting the Exploitation of the Donkin Coal Block set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (
b) authorize the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Natural Resources to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, or one to like effect.
