Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board dated March 14, 2025, and pursuant to Sections 7, 10 and 11 of

Schedule A of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2024, the Energy and Regulatory Boards Act , and

Section 8 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Marc Dunning of Halifax Regional Municipality as a full-time member of the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board for a term of ten years commencing April 1, 2025; (

b) determine the remuneration for Marc Dunning as a full-time member of the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board to be equivalent to Senior Officials Pay Plan, SO1 (80) in accordance with Order in Council 2024-352 dated September 24, 2024; (

c) appoint Darlene Willcott of Halifax Regional Municipality as a full-time member of the Nova Scotia Energy Board for a term of ten years commencing April 1, 2025; (

d) determine the remuneration for Darlene Willcott as a full-time member of the Nova Scotia Energy Board to be equivalent to Senior Officials Pay Plan, SO1 (80) in accordance with Order in Council 2024-352 dated September 24, 2024; (

e) designate Julia Clark of Halifax Regional Municipality as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board commencing April 1, 2025; and (

f) determine the remuneration for Julia Clark as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board to be equivalent to Senior Officials Pay Plan, SO2 (86) in accordance with Order in Council 2024-352 dated September 24, 2024.
