Order in Council 767/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas , by Order in Council 1271/2024 dated September 26, 2024, the Lieutenant Governor in Council appointed Eric Hanna as supervisor for Stevenson Memorial Hospital under subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act;

And

whereas Eric Hanna wishes to step down from his position as supervisor;

And

whereas the Minister of Health has recommended to the Lieutenant Governor in Council that Carmine Stumpo be appointed to continue carrying out the supervisor’s duties;

And

whereas , the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it in the public interest that Carmine Stumpo be appointed to succeed the current appointee as supervisor for the hospital;

Therefore , Order in Council 1271/2024 appointing Eric Hanna as supervisor for Stevenson Memorial Hospital and Order in Council 1228/2024 relating to remuneration are revoked effective as of the last instant of June 8, 2025;

Further , pursuant to subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act ,

Carmine Stumpo of Oro Medonte

is appointed as supervisor for Stevenson Memorial Hospital to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, effective as of the first instant of June 9, 2025
