MINISTERIAL ACCOUNTABILITY BASES, 2003-2004,

AMENDMENT ACT, 2004

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1 The Ministerial Accountability Bases Act, 2003-2004, is amended by adding the following section:

Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services

5 For the purposes of sections 5 (1) and 6 (1) of the Balanced Budget and Ministerial Accountability Act in relation to the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services for the 2003-2004 fiscal year, the estimated amount under

section 6 (1) of that Act is the sum of

(

a) the amounts appropriated for the operating expenses for which that minister is responsible in the main estimates for that fiscal year, and

(

b) the amount appropriated under

section 1 of the Supply Act, 2003-2004 (Supplementary Estimates No. 4) .

Commencement

Section 1 comes into force on the date of Royal Assent.
