OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated September 17, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to confirm and ratify the appointment of Gordon MacLean as acting Public Service Commissioner, acting Deputy Minister of Seniors and acting Deputy Head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women and Elizabeth Mills as Acting Deputy Minister of Immigration effective on and after August 25, 2008 and extending until such time as Rosalind Penfound resumes her duties as Public Service Commissioner, Deputy Minister of Seniors, Deputy Head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women and Deputy Minister of Immigration.
