OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated March 27, 2000, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 2000, to assign to the Minister of Health responsibility for all affairs and matters presently belonging to the Minister of Community Services pursuant to
Chapter 203 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Homes for Special Care Act, with respect to residential care facilities for seniors including (without limiting the generality of the foregoing) those institutions listed in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation together with
Chapter 432 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Social Assistance Act with respect to residential care facilities, small options, and community residences for seniors.
