An Act to Amend the Tobacco Tax Act Loi modifiant la Loi de la taxe sur le tabac Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Tobacco Tax Act,

chapter T-7 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended L’article de la Loi de la taxe sur le tabac, chapi- tre T-7 des Lois révisées de 1973, est modifié (

a) in paragraph (a.1) by striking out “on and after December 11, 2002” and substituting “from December 11, 2002, to March 22, 2011, both dates inclusive”;

a) à l’alinéa a.1), par la suppression de « le dé- cembre et après cette date » et son remplacement par « à partir du décembre jusqu’au mars 2011, les deux dates étant incluses »; (

b) by adding after paragraph (a.1) the following:

b) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’ali- néa a.1) : (a.2) on and after March 23, 2011, 17 cents on each cigarette purchased, a.2) le mars et après cette date, 17 cents sur chaque cigarette achetée, (

c) in paragraph (c.1) by striking out “on and after December 11, 2002” and substituting “from December 11, 2002, to March 22, 2011, both dates inclusive”;

c) à l’alinéa c.1), par la suppression de « le dé- cembre et après cette date » et son remplacement par « à partir du décembre jusqu’au mars 2011, les deux dates étant incluses »; (

d) by adding after paragraph (c.1) the following:

d) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’ali- néa c.1) : (c.2) on and after March 23, 2011, 14.70 cents on each tobacco stick purchased, c.2) le mars et après cette date, 14,70 cents sur chaque cylindre de tabac acheté, (

e) in paragraph (

d) by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;

e) à l’alinéa d), par la suppression de « et » à la fin de l’alinéa; 1 (

f) by repealing paragraph (

e) and substituting the following:

f) par l’abrogation de l’alinéa e ) et son remplace- ment par ce qui suit : (

e) from December 11, 2002, to March 22, 2011, both dates inclusive, 8.49 cents on each gram or any portion of a gram of any tobacco purchased other than ciga- rettes, cigars or tobacco sticks, and

e) à partir du décembre jusqu’au mars 2011, les deux dates étant incluses, 8,49 cents par gramme ou fraction de gramme sur tout tabac acheté à l’exception des cigarettes, des cigares ou des cylindres de tabac, et (

g) by adding after paragraph (

e) the following:

g) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’alinéa e) : (

f) on and after March 23, 2011, 13.74 cents on each gram or any portion of a gram of any tobacco purchased other than cigarettes, cigars or tobacco sticks.
