OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated November 29, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) accept the conveyance, at no cost, of lands comprising 16.22 +/- hectares (40.11 +/- acres), located at Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia and identified as Long Island, PID No. 60170842 (7.64 hectares +/-, 18.89 acres +/-), Dry Island, PID No. 60396884 (2.54 +/- hectares, 6.3 +/- acres), Centre Island, PID No. 60403946 (2.7 +/- hectares, 6.67 +/- acres) and Snipe Island, PID No. 60403938 (3.34 +/- hectares, 8.25 +/- acres) shown outlined in bold on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation from Long Island Preservation Society and/or the beneficial owners, and its/their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators, approved successors and assigns; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
