OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated July 2, 2003, and pursuant to

Section 19 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) rescind Order in Council 2000-399, dated August 2, 2000; (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (c), convey by grant or deed, a parcel of Crown land containing 0.86+/- hectare (exact area to be determined by survey), situate at Oakhill, Lunenburg County, to Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited. The Crown land is shown outlined in green on

Schedule "D" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

c) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (b), authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to accept from Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited a parcel of land containing 1.58+/- hectares (exact area to be determined by survey), situate at Oakhill, Lunenburg County, subject to the condition that Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited be able to certify title to its lands in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice. The subject land of Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited is shown outlined in red on

Schedule "D" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
