Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Internal Services dated March 15, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) approve the Province entering into a ten (10) year lease with Halifax Regional Municipality (with an option to renew for an additional five (5) year period), at an annual rental rate of one dollar ($1.00), for the lease of a parcel of land owned by the Province located at 331 Portland Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, containing an area of 0.58 acres, more or less, and more particularly described in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) approve the Minister of Internal Services, on behalf of the Province, making and executing a lease with Halifax Regional Municipality for the property located at 331 Pleasant Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, in such form and on such terms as the Minister of Internal Services determines.
