Alberta — Bills

No. 38 3rd Session, 13th Legislature Alberta 5 Elizabeth II, 1957' BILL 38 A Bill to amend The Revised Statutes 1955 Act HON. MR. MANNING EDMONTO~ ALBERTA . Printed by A. SHNITKA, Printer to the Queen's Most Excellent l\IuJ€sty 1957

Explanatory Note 3. Several Acts that were in force on the 31st December, 1955, the date to which the revision of the statutes was completed, were repealed at the 1956 session of the Legislature. Others may be repealed at this session before the Revision comes into force.

These Acts will be included in the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1955, and it is possible that because the commencement date of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1955, is later than the effective date of the repeal of these statutes and because the repealed statutes would be ~hown in the Revision and not the later Acts, some con fusion might arise as to the enactments actually in force. To avoid any uncertainty in this regard, the amendment makes express provision with regard to the status of the repealed enactments.
