OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated January 4, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 6 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act, is pleased to increase the remuneration for Adjudicators of the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia, effective November 1, 2004, as follows: (a)\x09The hourly fee, which includes all preparation for hearings, decision writing and preparation of orders, is fixed at $125.00 per hour or part thereof. (b)\x09The fee for preparation of a stated case is fixed at $175.00. (c)\x09The fee for travel when required to sit outside the usual location is: (i)\x09for greater than 50 kms but less than or equal to 100 kms each way . . . . . $100.00 (ii)\x09for greater than 100 kms but less than or equal to 200 kms each way. . . . .$200.00 (d)\x09Travel and accommodation expenses are to be paid at rates payable to public servants.
