Section 7 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission and Workers’ Compensa- tion Appeals Tribunal Act,

chapter W-14 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1994, is amended 1 L’article 7 de la

11 The Act is amended by adding after

13(2) Any decision of the Court of Appeal concern- ing the appeal of a decision, order or ruling referred to in subsection (1), including a decision determining that the policy on which the appeal is based is consistent with the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission and Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tri- bunal Act, the Workers’ Compensation Act, the Fire- fighters’ Compensation Act or the Occupational Health and Safety Act, shall have no effect on the amount of compensation, pension or benefits awarded or paid by the Commission to a worker as a result of the decision, order or ruling of the Appeals Tribunal, and the Com- mission has no right to recover the amounts from the worker. 13(2) Toute décision émanant de la Cour d’appel concernant tout appel d’une décision ou d’une ordon- nance visée au paragraphe (1), y compris une décision de la Cour d’appel déclarant que la politique sur la- quelle l’appel est fondé est compatible avec la

Ratification of pensions Ratification des pensions 14(1) Any pension calculated and paid by the Work- ers’ Compensation Board of New Brunswick under the Workers’ Compensation Act on or before December 31, 1994, shall be deemed to have been validly calculated and paid and is confirmed and ratified. 14(1) Sont réputées avoir été calculées et payées vala- blement et sont confirmées et ratifiées les pensions que la Commission des accidents du travail du Nouveau- Brunswick a calculées et payées en application de la
