CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Fuel Tax Act, 1987 (Assented to May 31, 1993) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Fuel Tax Amendment Act, 1993. S.S. 1986-87-88, c.F-23.2 amended The Fuel Tax Act, 1987 is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended Subsection 3(1) is amended: (

a) by repealing clause (

a) and substituting the following: A(

a) with respect to gasoline, ethanol-blended gasoline, diesel fuel or taxable fuels, other than those mentioned in clause (

b) or (c), 154 per litre@; and (

b) by striking out A74@ in clause (

b) and substituting A94@.

Section amended Subclause 5(1.1)(a)(

i) is amended: (

a) by adding Awhen used in the farmer's farming operations@ after Alicensed farm vehicle@; and (

b) by striking out A, as defined in the regulations,@. Coming into force 5(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into force on the day of assent.

(2) Section of this Act comes into force on the day of assent, but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on and from March 19, 1993.
