OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated January 4, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of

Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint Alexander W.C. MacIntosh of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a full-time member to serve as Chief Appeal Commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal for a term of office of five (5) years, extending from February 23, 2021 up to and including February 22, 2026, subject to dismissal for just cause; (

b) fix the remuneration of Alexander W.C. MacIntosh as the Chief Appeal Commissioner in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC-14) subject to all applicable enactments, regulations and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC-14); and order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Alexander W.C. MacIntosh as Chief Appeal Commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service.
