Hampden Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

, I define the following area as the Hampden Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the shoreline of Morgan Cove having coordinates North 5,493,498 metres

and East 243,771 metres

, more or less;

Then running in a southwesterly direction along the sinuosities

of the western shoreline of Hampden Bay to a point at the mouth of Hampden River;

Then running in a general northeasterly direction along the sinuosities

of the eastern shoreline of Hampden Bay to a point midway between the communities of Hampden and Galeville

having coordinates North 5,490,314 metres

and East 243,185 metres

, more or less;

Then running due east to a point on Oody

Mountain having coordinates North 5,490,314 metres

and East 243,635 metres

, more or less;

Then running due south to a point having coordinates North 5,485,439 metres

and East 243,635 metres

, more or less;

Then running in a westerly direction to a point of intersection with the centre

line of Route 421 ( Rushy

Brook Bridge) and the center line of Hampden River having coordinates North 5,485,483 metres

and East 240,836 metres

, more or less;

Then running in a northwesterly direction to the most southern point of Crooked Pond having coordinates north 5,486,753 metres

and east 238,520 metres

, more or less;

Then running due north to a point having coordinates North 5,493,498 metres

and East 238,578 metres

, more or less;

Then running due east to the point of beginning.

All coordinates being scaled from 30cm Orthorectified

Imagery and being referenced to the North American Datum 1983 (NAD83) using the Modified Transverse Mercator (MTM) Zone 2 Projection.
