Order in Council 944/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Government of Ontario has by Order in Council appointed an investigator under subsection 8(1) of the Public Hospitals Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P.40, as amended to investigate and report on the governance and management of Stevenson Memorial Hospital and all related issues (the “Investigator”).

Order in Council numbered 200/2024 approved and ordered on February 1, 2024, remunerating the Investigator, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, c. 21 Sched. F, shall be amended by striking out:

The number of days for which the Investigator may be remunerated under this Order shall not exceed a total of 50 days.

And replacing it with:

The number of days for which the Investigator may be remunerated under this Order shall not exceed a total of 75 days.
