OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated September 4, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 315 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Nova Scotia Museum Act, is pleased to, effective on and after September 27, 2002, to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Museum Board of Governors for a term of three years: Betty Ann Aaboe-Milligan of Head of Jeddore, Halifax Regional Municipality; Robbins Leonard Elliott of Wolfville, Kings County; Donald Julien of R.R.#6 Truro, Colchester County; Daniel Haughn of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Betty Ann Aaboe-Milligan, Robbins Leonard Elliott, Donald Julien and Daniel Haughn and indemnify them from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointments and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
