An Act to amend The Education and Health Tax Act. [Assented to May 4, 19 79.] HER Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as The Education and Health Tax Amend ment Act, 1979. 2. The Education and Health Tax Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section 7 .1 is repealed. 4. -

(1) The following paragraph is added after paragraph of subsection 8 (1): "7 .1 beer, wine or spirits taxable under The Liquor Consumption Tax Act".

(2) Paragraph of subsection 8(1) is repealed and the following substituted: "26. food and drink". 5. Subsection 19(1) is amended by adding after "marriage" in the first line the following: "solemnized on or before March 31, 1979". 6. Subsection 30(3) is amended by striking out "mount" in the second last line and substituting "amount". 7. Subsection 39(3) is amended by striking out "disstress'· in the fifth line and substituting "distress". 493 EDUCATION AND HEALTH TAX Cap. 23 fo~~~ing,nio 8.-0) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into force on the day of assent.

(2) Sections and of this Act come into force on the day on which The liquor Consumption Tax Act comes into force. 2
